ABOUT - Tina Hojnik

In case you are wondering how to pronounce my last name (you are not alone) - it’s ‘HOYNIK’ : )

I grew up in a charming small town in Slovenia, Europe.

My background is in sports — I played highly competitive level tennis throughout my junior + college years — then moved to Los Angeles in 2003, where I studied (and worked in) interior design, Feng Shui, home styling & real estate.

I’ve always been drawn to spaces that effortlessly feel & look good. As a kid, I remember having so much fun decorating and re-organizing my room and coming up with all sorts of storage solutions for all my toys and belongings.

Over the years, STUFF (and stress) accumulated and even with all my ‘organizing and storage solution skills’ at hand, I found myself (constantly) dealing with too much stuff — a.k.a. CLUTTER.

Something finally shifted in me while pregnant with my third child. All of a sudden, I felt an intense need for ORDER & SIMPLICITY. I longed for a slower, simpler & more organized life - once and for all.

Marie Kondo’s book — The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up — helped me achieve that by following the KonMari Method™ of tidying.

The process not only changed the way I tidy + organize — it also improved my relationship with material things. Life got a lot lighter, simpler & more peaceful once I let go of the things that didn’t serve or support me any longer.

I became a professional organizer & a certified KonMari™ consultant in order to help others transform their lives and experience the joy of order & simplicity.

“The moment you start tidying, you reset your life.”
